So it’s January and you’ve promised to be a better you, how far do you go? And how much do we really know about clean beauty products.
The cosmetics industry has come a long way with some brands going further – whether it is about sustainability, vegan, conscious living, ethical or free-from toxins; playing into any of those would make a company a clean brand. Almost all ‘clean beauty’ advocates have ditched these two ingredients: Parabens and Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) used in everything from mouthwash to shampoo and been linked to mass irritation in some users.
We are all keen to reduce our environmental impact and when it comes to cutting out ingredients, it’s really just about individual choice.
